What are Like Butter’s business hours?
Like Butter is open by appointment only from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday and 9am to 12pm on the first Saturday of the month. Click below to schedule an appointment.
Where is Like Butter located?
Like Butter's office and showroom is located at 30 Chelmsford Street, Kensington, Melbourne, Victoria. The entrance is via the roller door opposite Albermarle Street.

How much will delivery cost?
Courier charges depend upon the item and location. To check delivery costs for online orders, place the products that you would like to purchase in your cart and then proceed to the checkout. Once you enter the city, state and postcode, the page will refresh and the courier charge will show in the second column.
When can I expect delivery of my online order?
We aim to dispatch online orders within one business day of receipt of the order. We will be in touch if there are any delays. Courier transit times are dependent upon location.
Do I need to be at the delivery address to accept delivery of my online order?
Yes. If there is not someone at the delivery address, please email us to let you know a suitable day for delivery or provide instructions on where you order can be left safely.
When will my online order be ready for pick up?
Unless we contact you to notify you otherwise, your online order will be ready for pick up 2 hours after placing the order (during business hours). Once you place your order, please go ahead and arrange a pick-up time via the link provided in the confirmation email.

What weight can the pegboard hold?
The pegboard has not been weight tested however the pegs are very strong and can comfortably hold 10kg each. You will need to consider weight distribution to ensure that the panel is stable and won’t tip over.
Why are custom items more expensive than standard products?
Standard products are priced based on the efficiency of producing them in batches. As with a lot of things, cost per unit typically reduces when making multiples of the same thing. This is due to a number of factors including design, programming, sourcing materials and setting up. Not only can we not get the same economy of scale with one-off items, we also need to take design time into account.
Should I seal my plywood product?
It really depends on the product and what you are going to use it for and your personal preference. To keep costs down, we provide many of our products unsealed as raw, sanded timber. In many applications, no further finishing is required, particularly if you are comfortable with cleaning any marks with some fine sandpaper (180 grit). Alternatively, if you prefer to clean your surfaces with a damp cloth, then a seal is recommended to protect the timber from spills and any wet cleaning processes that may cause dust to be embedded into the timber. At the end of the day, it comes down to an aesthetic choice of whether you like seeing the wear-and-tear of life or being able to wipe it away.
